This is our new dedicated Kindergarten. We built a separate, dedicated class due to demand from parents who wanted to keep their children at our school for as long as possible and give them a head start. Our kindergarten curriculum extends the planned child-choice, student-centered learning environment and incorporates the academic expectations of local and state curriculum standards so that children can make a successful and seamless transition to school. With a maximum capacity of 12-14 children, this class provides a personalized learning environment with lots of individual attention from the teachers.

Kindergarten is a full-day program from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Children have a morning break, a recess period, and then lunch followed by a second recess period.

The kindergarten program recognizes that children will soon be entering schools that have a range of expectations for a child’s social and academic performance. The school uses both the Montessori teaching system and other teaching systems to provide a well-rounded education for your child. That means your child will benefit from specialized advanced Montessori teaching equipment, as well as the latest technology that can teach them to read, solve problems, develop their artistic talents, explore scientific concepts, and much more.

The academic program followed at the school consists of the study of Language Arts, Math, Science, History and Social Studies, Spanish, Art, Music, and Physical Education. Our comprehensive curriculum places a clear emphasis on the continuing development of strong language, reading, and writing abilities, as well as math skills essential for ongoing success in school and life.

LED Lights - This class has flicker-free, evenly distributed LED spotlights with a dimmer for better learning and relaxation. Studies seem to indicate that proper LED lighting can improve concentration, reading speed, comprehension, lower error rates, and create calmer and more relaxed children.

ALEXA SMART SPEAKER - We have a variety of music for each part of the day, including gentle classical music for study time, dance music for exercise, and more.

TOUCH SCREEN PC - Helps the teacher call up and demonstrate audio-visual teaching aids."
